Jason Skold

Jason Skold is the Missouri River Program Manager for The Nature Conservancy based in Omaha, Nebraska. Jason began his tenure with The Nature Conservancy in 2003. The program is advancing strategies related to river ecosystem restoration and community-based conservation. The program currently employs four people and is focusing efforts along the Lower Missouri River in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.

Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in fisheries science from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon in 1993. Before starting with The Nature Conservancy, Jason worked in the Fisheries Division of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission from 1996-2002 and with the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality’s Surface Water Section from 1994-1995.
