David A. Sieck

David grows corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay near Glenwood in Mills County. He has been farming for 35 years.

On the ICGA board, he has served in all officer positions and as representative to the U.S. Grains Council. Currently, he is on the Grassroots Network, Membership & Checkoff Committee and the National Nominating Committee. He also serves as an ICGA delegate to the National Corn Growers Association, where he is on the Ethanol Committee, having previously served on the Grower Services Action Team. He also serves on the Iowa Corn PAC board of directors.

Sieck has been a leader in addressing Missouri and Mississippi River issues, serving as an Iowa Corn representative at hearings and on advisory panels and testifying on river issues.

In addition to his ICGA work, he is an Iowa Farm Bureau member and treasurer of Western Iowa Energy. Sieck and his wife, Kim, have three children also involved in agriculture. In addition to farming, Sieck is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Glenwood Boosters Club, the National Federation of Business, and a real estate salesman.
