Vic Simmons is CEO and General Manager of Rushmore Electric Power Cooperative. Rushmore Electric is an eight-member Generation and Transmission Cooperative that purchases power from the western Area Power Administration and Basin Electric Power Cooperative. Rushmore also operates an Engineering Service for shared technical services to the members, a credit union for cooperative employees and their families, and a for profit communications subsidiary that performs two radio services for Rushmore, its members and public safety entities.
Mr. Simmons serves on the Board of Midwest Electric Consumers Association. He holds an A.A. in Engineering from South Dakota State University.
