David J. Schwarz
Billings, Montana
Dave Schwarz completed his education at Minnesota State University at Mankato receiving a B.S. and M.S. followed by post graduate study at South Dakota State University in a PhD program and worked toward a M.S. in environmental science.
He has served in various management capacities leading up to his current position as General Manager of Buffalo Rapids Irrigation Project for the past 16 years.
Dave has had a keen interest in the Yellowstone River and is involved in several organizations which directly relate to its health including the Prairie County Conservation District, Yellowstone River Conservation District Council, Governor’s Resource Conservation Advisory Council, Buffalo Rapids Working Group, and NRCS EQIP working group for Prairie County. He is a frequent presenter for several different organizations.
